I must admit I like You Tube. My kids are addicted to You Tube. We have fun together watching You Tube. BUT I am scared to death of the comments posted. They are vulgar for the sake of being vulgar. When I did a program on rollercoasters for school age children I wanted to show rides posted. I couldn't. Why? There was not a single comment without a curse word. I couldn't risk them scrolling down and seeing them. What a shame.

More Flickr.
I am very interested in the mashup "Trading Card Maker." I'm not so hip on the librarian trading cards but was happy to see artist trading cards. My daughter is an artist and I believe this would be an interesting addition to her senior show. She could do a trading card for each of her pieces and hand them out at the exhibit. Very cool. At least I think it is. But, because I think it is cool, she may not!

Flickr and tagging -
I can see how we at the Law Library could use tagging and Flickr. We are not very well known down here in the basement in the court support building so anything we could do to improve our recognition is a good thing. Good food for thought.

I am interested in this site because I want to make a photo album for my mother. With Flickr it will be fairly expensive but worth it for a very professional looking product.

Real people, real reviews. I explored this site for this exercise. Because the closest city on the site to us was Richmond, VA, I decided to explore Santa Barbara, CA. I checked out the reviews on restaurants and found an affordable, vegetarian friendly place to try next time I am in CA. I like reading review sites like tripadvisor.com and others. The award site is a good one to bookmard for future visits.

Very easy to use, lots of information. I am just not the blogging type at this point in my busy life. But I will check it out when I can so I can keep up with what is out there. I do enjoy reading what other people think about topics that are important to me and my family.

Very interesting. If I was doing some important research I can see beginning the process here. It is always helpful to see all the ways a subject can be researched. I especially like that you can choose a contributor and see all of their bookmarks. This way you can find somone who thinks like you or just the opposite, if necessary. It seems to be easy to use, but you do have to trust that everyone is serious and that bogus tags aren't created to waste your time.
